What it does
A symbolic mathematics engine written in C for the TI-84 Plus CE. The work covers calculus, algebra, linear algebra, statistics, probability, and finance under the calculator’s processor, memory, and display constraints.
The problem
A handheld mathematics interface has limited memory, a small display, and physical keys. Both the engine and the interaction design have to fit those constraints.
How it works
Develop the engine and calculator interface together, with automated checks and CEmu-based validation. This embedded project is separate from the legacy browser calculator elsewhere in the index.
Hardware constraints
The engine and interface are developed for the eZ80 processor, limited memory, a 320 × 240 display, and physical keys. Those constraints affect both mathematical implementation and how expressions and results are presented.
Validation work
Automated checks and CEmu-based inspection support development. Emulator evidence and a hardware release are separate milestones; the project is presented here as work in development.
